SRI KODANDA RAMALAYAM

HISTORY:

Sri Kodanda Ramalayam, (popularly known as Ram Mandir)  is situated at Amdi Nagar, HUDCO, Bhilai. The foundation of the temple was laid in the year 2000. The construction of the temple, Dhwaja sthambham and Hanuman mandir, Prathishthapana of the idols of  Lord Sri Rama, Sri Lakshmana and Devi Sita  were completed  on  21^st April 2002.  Bhilai residents are thankful to the founders Sri K.Vijay ,Sri G.R.K.Murthy and other donors.The temple has been registered  as a Society under Socities Regstration Act vide Registration no.152/2001.

PRESENT ACTIVITIES

Sri Kodanda Ramalayam is managed by the society called SRI KODANDA RAMA PRAJA SEWA SAMITI, AMDI NAGAR, HUDCO,  BHILAI -491001, CHHATTISGAH.

Temple is open from 6 A.M to 11 A.M and 6 P.M to 9 P.M

Temple daily timings and pujas are as follows:

PUJAS

1.       Archana:  8.30A.m to 10.30A.M and 6.30 P.M to 8.30 P.M

2.       Abhishekam- every Saturday and Ekadasi

3.       Sahasra Namarchana and Kumkum Puja every day with an intimation a day before.

4.       Sri Seeta Rama swamy kalyanam

5.       Vehicle puja of two wheeler

6.       Vehicle puja for four wheeler

7.       Special puja for a particular event

8.       Hanuman pan patta puja

9.       Vadamala or Appalamala offering
